This policy explains how PRO1 LASER CORP. (“Pro 1 Laser,” “we”) collects, uses and safeguards personal information through AlexaCO2.com. We handle your information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and, for people in Québec, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).
Information we collect
- Information you provide. When you request pricing, a demo or financing information, use the ROI calculator or contact us, we collect your name, email, phone, practice, role, region and the interests you share.
- How you arrived. Campaign parameters in the link you used (such as utm_source, gclid, fbclid), your landing page and referring site are kept in your browser and attached to a form only if you submit it.
- Usage data. If you accept cookies, standard usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type).
- AI advisor. Messages you send to the AI advisor are processed to generate a reply. The conversation is shared with our team only if you submit the contact form inside the chat.
Cookies & measurement
Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you accept via the consent banner. Before you choose, and if you decline, Google (Analytics and Ads) receives limited cookieless signals — for example, that a page was viewed or a form was submitted — used in aggregate to measure ad performance; no cookies are set or read. The Meta Pixel and HubSpot tracking load only after you accept. When you submit a form, we may share the event and hashed contact details with Meta to measure our advertising. Your choice is stored on your device; you can withdraw it by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
How we use your information
- Respond to your inquiries and provide quotations, demonstrations and financing options.
- Send communications you have requested or that relate to an existing business relationship.
- Understand and improve how our website and advertising perform.
Email & CASL
We send commercial electronic messages only with your consent or an existing business relationship permitted under CASL. Every message identifies us and includes a working unsubscribe link.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed:
- HubSpot — customer relationship management (following up on your inquiry);
- Google — website analytics and advertising measurement;
- Meta Platforms — advertising measurement (with consent);
- Anthropic — processing AI advisor messages;
- Resend — transactional email delivery;
- Vercel — website hosting.
Some of these providers process data outside Canada (including in the United States); there, your information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent. In Québec, you may also request de-indexation or cessation of dissemination where the law provides. Write to info@pro1laser.com.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access.
